NOTE FROM LES

Dear Friends,

Again another three months is history and again we have to thank you from the depth of our hearts for letters of encouragement, your prayers, and your financial support. We praise the Lord that He moves you to give without high pressure appeals from us. We pray for, and empathize with, those of you who have lost loved ones. We rejoice with you who have had the joy of weddings and births. As I have said many times before, we read every note and letter.

We also had another happy occasion -- the marriage of our grandson, Zack [Laura's son] to his lovely fiancée Kara. It was an outdoor wedding in the midst of all the autumn colors and a beautiful day in more ways than one. We are hoping to stay at home January through March because as I told someone, octogenarians should not be on the road in wintertime.

What in the World?

Luke 21:24 - The times of the Gentiles fulfilled . Romans 11:25 - The fullness of the Gentiles.

Both of these statements are referring to the time of the end. As God told Abraham in Genesis 15:16, Israel could not take the Promised Land until the iniquity of the Amorites was full. In other words, God gave the Canaanite nations 400 years to turn from iniquity, but instead they went deeper and deeper into immorality in all its forms [Leviticus 18] Now, God could, in all fairness, bring judgment upon the Canaanites in the form of giving their land to the Children of Israel. So also today, the Gentile world is filling the cup of iniquity with the same immoral acts, leading them to the final seven years of God's wrath and judgment.

Running concurrently is the Body of Christ, which also is being brought to the full. When it is, God takes it out and brings in the wrath of God, culminating with Christ's return and the opening of Israel's spiritual eyes. Everything in the world today is telling us that both are nearing the full mark. Western Europe, every day, is doing things that remind us of the Ancient Roman Empire. The Middle East is a disaster waiting to happen. Into that scenario will step the Anti-Christ bringing a seemingly permanent peace - even allowing Israel to rebuild a temple of sorts and restore the ancient temple worship. At the same time, God is calling out people and placing them in the Body of Christ. Even our small outreach is bringing in so many. One day soon, sooner than most realize, the Body will be complete and we will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air - I Thess. 4:13-18.

Now when someone says "rapture" is not in the Bible, remind them that "caught up" is translated "raptura" in Latin Vulgate.

The government cannot give anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation. Note from Laura

Here it is December of 2010 -- another year almost gone -- and another year closer to the year of our Savior's return. Some people wonder why in the world I am so excited about the rapture and I find myself coming up with so many reasons why I am ready for heaven. I guess some of the obvious reasons are that I will get to meet my Savior, will get a new perfect body, and will live in a totally sin free environment where there will be no more death or disease. In my mind I imagine a place where there is nothing bad, an environment where we will be friends with all the animals and birds, where we will have environments suited to what we love-- some warm climates, others cooler climates-- and where we will be in choirs made up of millions, all lifting our voices together in praise. On top of all that, I believe that there will be feasting! My personal Bible study has been Isaiah the last several weeks and I have enjoyed it so much! All the passages about the millennial reign have me so excited because I personally think that much of what will be experienced here on earth during the millennial reign will also continue on into eternity.[Of course not a lot is said in Scripture about eternity so these things are debatable] I lack just a few chapters before I finish Isaiah and I already want to go back to Chapter 1 and start over :-). As I read and studied I realized that although my mind can try to imagine the perfect physical realm, it cannot even begin to fathom the spiritual. After all, who can even begin to imagine what it will be like to have a perfect relationship with the glorified Christ?!! or who can imagine ''perfect rest, peace, and assurance''? All those things [not counting time and space barriers removed and countless other things too wonderful to be imagined] definitely lead us to understand why we are told in God's word that eternity is beyond our comprehension! I often try to think of the best possible scenario I can think of and I know that it falls so extremely short of what heaven in reality is going to be and that is absolutely mind-boggling. To those people who think I am the one who needs my head examined because I am so yearning for the rapture and what is to follow, I have to wonder how it is that they do not...............

Special Prayer Request

Many of you who have called the office have talked to Melissa and we would ask that she and her husband Andy be kept in special prayer. Andy was found to have advanced brain cancer in November and has since had brain surgery. He is at home now but due to work missed and travel costs, financial needs and prognosis are points of prayer. We appreciate so much each prayer said in their behalf.

Office Note

As most of you know, we started over in Genesis in October. While many of you have been watching Les for many years, for many others this is the first time through. It is hard to believe that the first taping was in October of 1990 and the last taping was in October of 2009. There are 82 books with 12 lessons in each book which means Les taught a total of 984 programs! What is so wonderful about God's Word is that it is always appropriate and never-changing so the teaching is still viable. We have had many, many calls and letters, from both old listeners and new, telling us that the ''reruns'' are being totally enjoyed and we certainly appreciate the positive feedback. As always, we want to encourage people new to our ministry to use your memo line of your check-- if you can write ''donation'' if it's a donation or ''invoice'' [or invoice number] if it's a payment, it is a great help.

Also, any of you who need a year-end report for tax purposes, just let us know and we will get that for you.

*Book 82 page 45 should read ''so it says that those that are in the lamb's book of life will not lose their life. [Mistakenly says, ''will lose their life'' [subsequent printings will be corrected]

*Excuse the big blue screen with the address and phone number that is present on some of these ''reruns''. This is due to the old tapes having an incorrect address. [Remember that some of these tapes are from back as far as 1990 and although the ministry has not moved, the address has been changed three times...]

*Please, disregard any booklet priced below $6 or any video priced below $30, as those were prices mentioned in early tapings. However, there have not been any price changes since 1998.

Interesting Tidbit

A recent headline appearing in Yahoo news was something to the effect that scientists now estimate that there are over 300 sextillion stars. Psalms 147:4 He telleth the number of the stars; He calleth them all by their names.
