First, in response to all the inquiries concerning the weather and the cattle, we had a beautiful winter and spring with ample amounts of rain. The timely rains have continued right up to the present and it is just now getting dry. Our hay crop has been 3-4 times better than the previous 2 years, (when we had drought conditions) and our pastures are also the best we've seen in years. The Lord has truly blessed our part of the country this year. Our hearts go out to those of you experiencing drought conditions!

The Lord continues to bless the ministry as well. In spite of the shaky economy, our contributions are holding up and we are able to pay the bills.

We just returned from North Carolina and Georgia. What a blessing to see old friends and make so many new ones. Again, our personal thanks to all of you who support us faithfully with your prayers and offerings. With all of our love in Him, Les.

Secretary's note: We are always so humbled by all of you who support us financially. It is amazing how God uses his people to meet our needs each month. We have been able to keep up with the bills and have not had to drop any stations this year. Although we are not in a position yet to pick up new stations, we feel our viewer numbers are growing daily.

We praise God daily for not only providing for our needs, but going above and beyond. For example, the month of July was full of surprises. First, the ministry was given all new office furniture as well as office supplies – including computers and a big copier. Secondly, the ministry was given a much-needed vehicle (as our previous car was totaled when Iris got hit from behind - no fault of hers, and no apparent long term injury - just very sore for a few days!) Thirdly, August is usually a month that donations drop, but God used His own and we ended up above average for the month. Anyway, we just want everyone to know that we truly appreciate the support and even though we know you give as unto the Lord, we thank you for your generosity so that we may continue to teach His Word.

Also, in response to the increased postal rates, we have had many ask that no receipts be sent. This is fine with us, but be sure to ask for a year -end report at the end of the year if you need one. Also, one of the reasons we continue to send donation receipts with each donation (unless requested otherwise) as well as a return envelope, is because donations drop dramatically when no return envelopes are sent (a lesson from experience).

Lastly, our apologies for taking so long in getting the Question/Answer book out. It was a case of every single step of the way being somewhat of a problem in getting it printed – thus delays every step, causing the delivery date to be almost two months later than originally planned…..Thank you for your patience with us!

We seem to be getting more and more letters where some form of this statement is made, "We like your teaching but cannot agree with your theory of the rapture." Theory? Equating it with something like evolution? Please consider the following:

So, disagree if you must, but please do not refer to my Blessed Hope (Titus 2:13 –"Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;") as a theory.
