Faith Plus Nothing
Dear Friends – Thank you so much for your prayers, phone calls, cards and all the love that
has been shown to our family. Although his absence is felt every day, knowing that he is with
the Lord and all that he is experiencing helps ease the pain. Les always believed in God’s
timing and His plan, and his passing was a beautiful display of both.
We will miss Les, but he has left a legacy that can continue to grow through the years. The
office staff will keep the ministry running until the Lord returns, just as Les had planned.
Although the world has changed a lot since he started, the message will always remain the
same and will continue to change lives through his recorded programs.

Perhaps you aren’t ready yet to have to say good-bye …
For one thing, I’d have told you not to worry about me …
I’m sorry that you’re feeling sad, for I’m so happy now…
It’s hard at the beginning, but I know you’ll make it through…
Perhaps you’ve thought of things you wished you’d said… well, so have I.
I’m with the Lord in Heaven now – you knew that’s where I’d be.
I’ve asked the Lord to ease the hurt and comfort you somehow.
I hope it helps to know that I’ll be waiting here for you.
Excerpt from Book #30 - Philippians 3:7,8 "But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for
Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my
Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ."
He (Paul) cast it all aside as worthless that he might become the very workmanship of Christ Himself. So, all of his
sufficiency was never because of his background. Not because he was a Hebrew of Hebrews but because
he was a humble servant of the Creator God.
In these next series of verses, the casual reader probably never catches this, but there is one example after
another of the difference between Law and Grace. I trust that, if The Lord tarries, and I go by way of the
valley of the shadow of death and I'm off the scene, that people will still be able to remember that I was
constantly trumpeting the difference between Law and Grace, and here it is again. Verse 6:
II Corinthians 3:6 "Who (God from verse 5) also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of
the letter, (the Law of Moses) but of the spirit: for the letter (Law) killeth, but the spirit giveth life."
See the difference? Law could do nothing but condemn. The Law had no life-giving power whatsoever. And
that's why people are so foolish when they say, "Well, I'm trying to do the best I can. I'm keeping the
Commandments." The Commandments can't do anything but kill. The Commandments pronounce it as
guilty! But Grace, which is epitomized here in verse 6 as the work of the Holy Spirit, giveth life. Now,
remember from our resurrection study that when we get into the eternal state we will no longer be flesh and
blood, but rather flesh and bone with that power of life coming from the Holy Spirit. Now here in this verse
is that same Spirit - that power from on High, it's that Holy Spirit that gives life. But the Law can only
condemn.
II Corinthians 3:7 "But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, (the Law, and so if
that) was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not steadfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory
of his countenance; which was to be done away:"
Sharing the Gospel with the younger generations
We are often contacted by people who are concerned about the spiritual standing of their teen
or young adult children or grandchildren. Their trepidation is understandable considering the
antichristian influences of public school, college, social media, and the entertainment industry.
According to a September 2022 Pew Research Center article titled Modeling the Future of
Religion in America, “…we estimate 31% of people raised Christian become unaffiliated
between ages 15 to 29, the tumultuous period in which religious switching is concentrated.”
Many times, people will reach out with the intent of ordering the entire collection of books,
DVDs, or CDs in the hopes that they will be able to provide teaching for their loved ones or to
have them available if they ever express interest or ask questions. In these situations, we
highly recommend directing the young person to the Internet. Our website, www.lesfeldick.org
is a great resource. All 984 programs can be accessed there for free and are searchable by
subject. Younger people do not often have DVD or CD players but are more accustomed to
accessing digital media from their phone or other device. Other places they can find the
teaching would be on YouTube (look for the official Les Feldick page), ROKU, Apple TV and
Amazon Fire TV. The ministry content is available “on demand” through all of these apps, and
again, is free. These sites could be very beneficial to younger people looking for answers to
more complex Biblical questions.
