Dear Friends – Keep Looking up!
One of the truest signs of the Lord’s coming, the rapture, is expressed by the Lord Himself, “When I come again will I find faith?” The closer we get, the less we hear anything about it, yet the scripture is so clear… 1 Corinthians 15:51-53 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So, keep looking up! Every day is a day closer! - Les

As 2020 comes to a close, we will continue praying for our brothers and sisters in Christ, as well as, the spiritual and physical healing of our nation. Please remember to pray for those to whom God has given authority. We know that if believers can stand united, that through us, God can and will bless America.
1 Timothy 2:1-5 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
30th Anniversary ~ Thank you!
What a blessing and honor to be used of the Lord for 30 years! How humbling that a farmer/rancher with a passion for the Bible and obedience to a calling, could reach millions around the globe. Our Lord’s providential hand guides every aspect of this ministry, from Les’ knowledge and gift for teaching the Word, to Iris’ loving dedication, to all the people who have selflessly and quietly helped and supported along the way. This most certainly includes all the many prayers of the saints, along with your generous support over the years, because without you, none of this would be possible. Just as in the Body of Christ, it takes all the members to make the whole. To God be the Glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Biblically, the number 30 symbolizes dedication to a particular task or calling. How appropriate for 30 years of Through the Bible!
Among others, some of the most significant events that include the number 30 are:
* Joseph was 30 years old when he came to power in Egypt (Genesis 41:46)
* Thirty was the age in which men of Israel could serve in the military and Levites began
priestly service (throughout Numbers 4)
* Israel mourned 30 days at the passing of Moses (Deuteronomy 34:8)
* David began his reign at the age of 30 (2 Samuel 5:4)
* Jesus began his ministry at the age of 30 (Luke 3:23)
* John began teaching at 30 years of age (based on the age of Jesus)
* Judas betrayed Jesus for 30 pieces of silver (Matthew 26:15)

QUESTION: If all are called and few are chosen, and none can come unless
called - why are we to testify and witness?
ANSWER: Because God in His Wisdom has seen fit to communicate to the human
race by empowering believers with the Holy Spirit to proclaim God's Word to our
fellow humans. For example, the Lord opened Lydia's heart in Acts 16:14, but Paul
spoke the words she needed to hear. Isaiah 6 is another good example. The Lord
said "whom shall I send, who will go (to the nation of Israel) for us?" Isaiah
answered "send me." Romans 10:14, 15 & 17 - How shall they call on him in whom
they have not believed? And, how shall they believe in him of whom they have not
heard? How shall they hear without a proclaimer? How shall they proclaim except
they be sent? (Remember Isaiah?) So then, Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by
the word of God. The call to salvation is extended to everyone. But, salvation comes
only to those who are willing to believe.

Paul's Prayers: Much can be gleaned from God's word as to prayer. The apostle Paul includes numerous prayers in his letters and it's interesting that he prays so much for others. When writing to believers, he tells them that he prays for their faith, encouragement, strength, open spiritual eyes, and peace. He prays they will become mature and stay close to God, have knowledge of God, be pleasing to God, bear fruit, to know love and have hope. He prays they will grow spiritually so that others can be reached, and God will be glorified. He prays that believers will pray for him and his safety so that he might reach others and bring glory to God. He also reminds the believers to be thankful and to make all of their requests be made known to God. If you're interested in looking up Paul's prayers, here are the references:
