A Note from Les: Dear Friends, Iris and I just returned from another 3000 mile sojourn to Minnesota, South Dakota, and Kansas. What an encouragement to see so many beginning to study and understand the scriptures, especially the Apostle Paul’s epistles. We are quite satisfied with the smaller attendances because we are reminded of the words of the Lord Jesus in Matthew: "Wide is the way that leads to destruction, but narrow is the way which leads to life and few there be that find it."

A highlight was the attendance of 2 couples (at 2 separate seminars) that were in my Sunday school class as teenagers, back in Iowa in the 1960’s. What a joy to see these 4 who have not turned away, but have grown in their walk with our Lord.

Since we have been traveling so much these last 3 months, many of your letters have gone unanswered. I try to respond first to those who have questions about salvation, but do try to answer all the specific other questions that I can. If you wrote in with a question and have not found your answer, please write again. Les

A Note from Iris: Here is a delicious quick dinner recipe as served to us by some friends in Indiana. First, cut chicken breast into small cubes and boil until done. Second, add chicken cubes to undiluted golden mushroom soup. Serve over fluffy rice-YUMMY

Secretary’s note: As always, we have to start out with our thanks for your prayers and/or your financial support. All of you who remember us in prayer or send a gift are a very vital part of this ministry and we thank our Father for you each day and know that without you, this ministry would not exist. It is indeed humbling to know that so many of you are so faithful in either your prayer support, or your financial support, and we just want you to know that both are appreciated. It is so exciting to work here and see how God uses His people to meet our needs and I often wish that I could share some of the things that have happened here to let us know that He is still in control.

Anyway, now on to items of interest. #1. We now have all of the regular lessons on DVD’s and are working at getting them with menus on them. (We are hoping to have all the DVD’s with menus by Christmas.) Also, we now have several of the seminars in DVD format. #2. Don’t forget to use your memo line- it really helps us out on this end if you put "payment" -(if you are sending money for products received) or "gift" if it is a donation. Also, remember that if you are ordering, you do not need an order blank- any piece of paper with a note telling what you want us to send is fine with us. #3. We now have our Israel brochures so if you are interested in going to Israel in March of 2005 (next spring!), just drop us a note or give us a call and request a brochure. #4. Don’t forget that we are getting a new address due to 911, but we are still out here in the same place as always. Our new address is 30706 W. Lona Valley Rd. Kinta, Ok. 74552. (We can continue to get mail by using the Rt 1 address for about 6 more months though.)#5. If you have children from the ages of 6-12, you might try checking out www.grace-harbor-church.org . They have the grace message targeted at children under the age of 13.(when you get to the site, click on "Minors Club".) #6. For those of you that are older but have internet and are looking for some Grace interaction, try this site: http://groups.yahoo.com . When it asks for group search, type in "Les Feldick". #7.Don’t forget that there are no weekly classes here in Oklahoma for the months of July, August, or September. Classes will resume on Oct. 11th. #8. Tulsa taping dates will be on July 14th, August 4th, August 18th, Sept 8th, and Oct. 6th. For more information, feel free to give us a call @ 1800-369-7856.

What in the World

The following article has been emailed to a lot of people, so many of you may have already read it, but we must never forget that the Muslim religion is not a religion of peace. The Qur’an clearly states: "A tree will say, there is an infidel hiding behind me. Come and kill him. A rock will say, there is an infidel hiding behind me, come and kill him." We certainly know that Christ died for all, even the Muslims who hate us, but we are not to put our heads in the sand. We must constantly confront them and the rest of the world with the Gospel. I am reminded of a quote in the Des Moines Register back in 1959 or 1960-Paraphrasing it went something like this: Too often minorities almost scream at us "be tolerant, be tolerant", but when they become the majority, they do not know what tolerance is. Remember too, that the main reason the Muslims hate America is because we are a friend of Israel and they have a perpetual hatred for the Jew. (see Ezekiel 35:4 and 5). Our only hope is the Blessed Hope of Titus 2:13- ….the glorious appearing of our Lord!

Light on the Middle East Dilemma

Last month I attended my annual training session that’s required for maintaining my state prison security clearance. During the training session there was a presentation by three speakers representing the Roman Catholic, Protestant and Muslim faiths, who each explained their belief system.

After the presentations, time was provided for questions and answers. When it was my turn, I directed my question to the Imam and asked, "Please, correct me if I’m wrong, but I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad (Holy war) against the infidels of the world. And that by killing an infidel, which is a command to all Muslims, they are assured of a place in heaven. If that’s the case, can you give me the definition of an infidel?" There was no disagreement with my statements, and without hesitation, he replied, "Non-believers!"

I responded, "so, let me make sure I have this straight. All followers of Allah have been commanded to kill everyone who is not of your faith so they can go to Heaven. Is that correct? The expression on his face changed from one of authority and command to that of a little boy who had just gotten caught with his hand in the cookie jar. He sheepishly replied, "Yes." I then stated, "Well, sir, I have a real problem trying to imagine Pope John Paul commanding all Catholics to kill those of your faith, or Dr. Stanley ordering Protestants to do the same in order to go to Heaven!"

The Imam was speechless. I continued, " I also have a problem with being your friend when you and your brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me. Let me ask you a question. Would you rather have your Allah who tells you to kill me in order to go to Heaven or my Jesus who tells me to love you because I am going to Heaven and He wants you to be with me?" You could have heard a pin drop as the Imam hung his head in shame.

By Rick Mathes, a well known leader in prison ministry.

Needless to say, the organizers and/or promoters of the "Diversification Training Seminar" were not very happy with Rick’s way of dealing with the Islamic Imam and exposing truth about the Muslims’ beliefs. We think everyone in the US should be required to read this, but with the liberal justice system, liberal media, and the ACLU, there is no way this will be adequately published. But we should do what we can. Please pass this on.
